IMAGES OF INSPIRATION 55. ONLY WHEN WE ACCEPT THE TRUTH OF OUR SPIRITUAL NATURE, ONLY WHEN WE ACCEPT THAT WE ARE SACRED PILGRIMS ON THE MYSTICAL WAY TO THE ONENESS WITH ALL THAT WE CALL GOD CAN WE BECOME THE FULL AND WONDROUS HUMAN BEINGS WE WERE ALWAYS DESTINED TO BE. OUR DESTINY HAS ALWAYS BEEN SPIRITUAL AND OUR DESTINY WILL FOREVER BE SPIRITUAL. IT IS TIME FOR US TO STAND TALL AND ACCEPT OUR GOD-GIVEN SACRED CALLING

The interconnection of text and image: the UNITY of visual and textual transcendence in pursuit of our destiny: our spiritual and sacred ONENESS. These times of ours are spiritually profound, and at the same time can be spiritually disturbing. We see the old collective consciousness of society giving way to an extreme form of individualism. And there is much to be concerned with this, in terms of our spirituality, because too often that individualism shifts us away from any sense of the sacred, and sense of the spiritual worth of ourselves and sadly of others. The individualisation of humanity too often sees a gross denial of Other, a gross embracing of personal aggrandisement and material accumulation. This is the spiritually dark side of the world we are at present creating, perhaps it is the world that is evolving and emerging around us, and there is very little we can do about it. But…

A woman stares upwards into the distance from out of a black background.

WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR OWN SOULS, AND FOR OUR OWN SOUL-LIFE. WE CAN OFFLOAD THAT RESPONSIBILITY: ONTO NO-ONE. THAT RESPONSIBILITY IS SET DEEP WITHIN OUR SPIRITUAL NATURE, OUR TRULY SACRED NATURE, AND CANNOT BE DENIED IF WE ARE TO NOT ONLY PROGRESS SPIRITUALLY BUT ALSO ACHIEVE HEALING AND ONENESS: ONENESS WITH OUR TRUE SPIRITUAL SELVES, ONENESS WITH EACH OTHER, ONENESS WITH OUR COMMUNITIES AND ONENESS WITH OUR MOTHER EARTH, OUR HOLY GAIA. IT IS OUR BIRTHRIGHT, IT IS OUR DESTINY, AND IT IS OUR SCARED AND SPIRITUAL DUTY.

We know now that we truly are responsible for our own souls, for our own spiritual journeys, and our own spiritual lives. We can seek help from none, or we can seek help from many. To be linked with others in our journeys is a blessings indeed. But at the end of the day, and at the end of our life here on Earth, it is us alone who must stand and answer as best we can, to ourselves, for all that we have done and not done; for all we have thought and not thought.

But…

For us as individual human beings, and us as humanity as a whole, this individualism, if we get thing right, can be the springboard to an extraordinary spiritual advancement, and an extraordinary spiritual unfolding into a profound awareness of Other, of ALL others. Genuine spiritual progress can only happen when it comes from deep in our inner and sacred spirit, not from the atavistic connections we might involuntarily have with each other. The true spiritual morality will come from separation and then embracement.

Again, we see the age-old and universal truth that pervades the spiritual and mystical quest for the inner sacredness of ourselves. To find ourselves we must first lose ourselves, and with this highly individualised culture we have developed, we are indeed losing our true selves, because our true self is not separate from Other, our true self is infinitely connected to ALL. But, but, but; this ultimate realisation of our spiritual unfoldment can only come about when enacted by ourselves. It cannot be something we inherit, in the same way as connection with other is inherited within a tribal context. These are dangerous times: but the opportunity for us all in true spiritual terms is immense.

We are responsible for our OWN souls,

and for our OWN soul-life.

We can offload that responsibility:

Onto NO-ONE
