TO SURVIVE WE MUST OBEY THE LAW. TO FLOURISH WE MUST OBEY THE HIGHER LAW, THE ETHICAL LAW: THE LAW OF SPIRIT. THAT IS THE SPIRITUAL IMPERATIVE OF OUR EXISTENCE, OF OUR SACRED COSMIC EXISTENCE. DEEP-SET IN US ALL IS THE MYSTICAL AND PROFOUNDLY SPIRITUAL REALITY OF THE SACRED ALL. WE DENY THAT SACRED REALITY AT OUR PERIL. THIS SPIRITUAL IMPERATIVE WE MUST AWAKEN TO, AND THEN WITH THIS AWAKENING, SHALL COME OUR SPIRITUAL HEALING OF OURSELVES, OF EACH OTHER, OF OUR COMMUNITIES AND OF OUR MOTHER EARTH, OUR HOLY GAIA.

An attempt to overthrow the result of November 2020’s presidential election, places the United States of America in deep political, ethical, moral and spiritual jeopardy. It is often all too easy in our everyday lives to forget that there are moral, ethical and thereby spiritual aspects to everything we do and say. It is equally easy – more so really – in our national and political lives to forget that everything we do and say is loaded with consequences, and indeed with ‘spiritual’ consequences. Put another way, when we depart from the moral high ground, we depart from those spiritually safe pathways. It is always tempting to consider an issue and ask, ‘what is the best thing to do here?’ It is all to easy to forget that what we are thereby asking is’ what will serve me best?’ But the best people, the best leaders, the true and safest role models, ask a quite different question. They ask, ‘what is the RIGHT thing to do here?’ That is the SACRED way.

ALL IS ONE. HOW WE OPERATE IN THE POLITICAL ARENA CAN ONLY BE A REFLECTION OF THE PEOPLE WE TRULY ARE. THAT IS THE SPIRITUAL IMPERATIVE OF OUR EXISTENCE. IT IS THE SPIRITUAL IMPERATIVE OF ALL CONSCIOUS EXISTENCE. OUR ONLY HOPE IS TO BE FOREVER SEEKING THE MORAL HIGH GROUND. OUR ONLY DUTY AND PURPOSE IS TO BE ONE WITHIN THE SPIRITUAL, MYSTICAL AND INDEED SACRED PILGRIMAGE TOWARDS ONENESS WITH THE ALL, WHICH IS WHAT WE CALL GOD. TO DO OTHERWISE IS TO FAIL OUR COSMIC SPIRITUAL TEST.

An attempt to overthrow the result of November 2020’s presidential election, places the United States of America in deep political, ethical, moral and spiritual jeopardy.

US senator Ted Cruz of Texas, Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and nine other Republican US senators or senators-elect have said they will reject presidential electors from states where Donald Trump has contested his defeat by Joe Biden. It would also appear that Vice-President Mike Pence has approved this move by these senators.

At the same time, we have just been hearing a recording of President Trump seeming to require election officials to ‘adjust’ the election result, as part of his campaign to overturn the result of the November presidential election.

It seems unlikely that these attempts to change the result of the election will prevail. What is not clear is whether the reputations and future careers of these senators will be affected by what they are now trying to do. However, it probably is clear that the reputation and future path of the United States will be affected by what has been happening since the election.

Utah Senator Mitt Romney released the following statement: ‘The egregious ploy to reject electors may enhance the political ambition of some, but dangerously threatens our Democratic Republic.’

Put another way, when we depart from the moral high ground, we depart from safe pathways. It is always tempting to consider an issue and ask, ‘what is the best thing to do here?’ It is all to easy to forget that what we are thereby asking is’ what will serve me best?’ But the best people, the best leaders, the true and safest role models, ask a quite different question. They ask, ‘what is the RIGHT thing to do here?’

We could see President Obama doing ‘the right thing’ when in 2016 he graciously accepted Trump’s election victory. Surely, we all can see that those who now claim that President Elect Biden did not win the election are not doing the right thing, are not putting their country and its future first, but are attempting to do what they imagine will be most advantageous for themselves. This breaks ethical, moral and spiritual norms of what is right. They will ultimately have to suffer consequences, for when spiritual norms are broken, the consequences are ultimately destructive to the psyche. So too will the United States as a whole suffer. It is dangerous waters indeed for any nation when its politicians end up hating their opponents more than they actually love their country.

We might imagine that we live lives devoid of spiritual consequences. But we do not. If we believe in the spiritual realms, then the consequences are indeed Spiritual. If we do not believe in such realms, then we should not imagine that we as individuals, and we as nations, do not thereby suffer spiritually (‘spiritually’ with a small ‘s’, ‘spiritually’ meaning morally and psychically).

The attempt to overthrow Biden’s election victory is a dagger that has been plunged close to America’s heart. It should not (repeat, ‘should not’) be life threatening. But America will require healing. The language might to some appear old-fashioned and out of kilter with our modern times, but the language is still powerful and deep-set with meaning. America and its people have been spiritually wounded.

We live in a world that sees itself afflicted by countless problems. They are problems that are social, political, economic, and of course personal. What, however, we need to bear in mind is that most of our problems have a deeply set origin in matters that are only superficially social, political, or economic. Most of our problems, and this certainly is easier to identify with personal issues, are deeply spiritual. Most of our problems are moral and ethical problems and like it or not, moral and ethical issues are always grounded in matters spiritual. We must never forget that we as human beings are sacred, and that the planet we receive our nourishment from is also sacred. We must never forget that the environment we live in, so often enjoy, and are so dependent upon, is also sacred. We must never forget that we as individuals are infinitely precious, and at the same time are intimately bound up with each other, with our environment and our planet, and of course with the Cosmos entire. We forget that, and we flounder.
